Candidates must possess at least 15 years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating expertise in developing high-speed server applications utilizing Javascript/Node.js, and a strong understanding of REST and WebSocket communication protocols. Experience with relational and non-relational databases, such as DynamoDB, MongoDB, and MySQL, along with in-depth data modelling skills focused on performance and maintenance, is also required.
The Principal Backend Programmer will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining the functionality of backend systems, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders and customers to successfully complete the development and optimization of new and legacy features. This includes developing new server features, writing specifications, diagnosing and solving problems to improve code robustness, working with other programmers to provide gaming server-compliant services, performing functional and load testing, and optimizing code considering the live and online status of the game.
